Authentic Leadership

Why is more authenticity needed in leadership?
A more authentic leader makes more conscious, sustainable and innovative decisions and creates better teams and organizations. There is plenty of proof for that and we do not want to go into the reasoning for that here. We want to invite you to explore it with us and go beyond what you currently think is possible.

Being more authentic in our leadership makes us more fulfilled and happy.

What is this workshop about?

You get the chance to explore and train the treasures that are hidden in our experience and that can help us become better leaders. We will also practice how we can bring more of our authentic experience while leading a group. The focus is to explore firsthand what we experience and how we can use that in contact and relationship with others. What happens within you when you lead?

What will we do?

  • Focus on what we are not yet allowing
  • Experience what happens when we say yes to more of our experience and choose to trust it
  • See clearer where we believe the limits are to our authentic leadership and why
  • Explore what intelligence might be hidden in feelings that we often dismiss such as distraction and confusion
  • Create an understanding of what beliefs we carry about our leadership

Who are we?

Mareike Christensen discovered Authentic Relating and Circling some five years ago and has since been fascinated by the power of connection to oneself and others. She is trained in Circling & Surrendered Leadership by Circling Europe and studies Integral psychotherapy. She is also trained in Embodied Intimacy and Restorative Justice. Besides facilitating workshops and circling, she offers coaching sessions and conflict mediation in Stockholm. Mareike likes to combine self-awareness meditations with a focus on the body and relational explorations. Circling remains the most powerful practice she has encountered and she keeps experiencing it in new ways.

What others have said about our work?

"The workshop has probably been the most important investment in my personal growth and self-acceptance for ages. The workshop created a perfect space, if you are motivated to be brave enough to face and explore your own emotions and boundaries.” (Rasmus, Copenhagen)
